Shenandoah Hot Air Balloon & Wine Festival

The weekend Ginger came up, G-Ma, Uncle Jerry and the rest of us all went to the Shenandoah Hot Air Balloon and Wine Festival somewhat near us. We get up at the crack of dawn and grab a spot with a great view of the beautiful mountains with changing leaves, awaiting a perfect view of all the glowing hot air balloons to fill the air. Unfortunately, poor Maddox wasn't feeling well started throwing tantrums very early on. Daddy took the fall and took him home to sleep (he slept until 2:30 that afternoon!). We really missed them. For some reason, this year there were maybe 5-7 balloons total, and they didn't all go up around the same time, but it was still a beautiful view and a fun day. The biggest hits for Raymond were the mini tractor races, picking out a fresh apple, the magic show, firetruck parade and the panda bear moon bounce. The day wouldn't have been complete without Aunt Ginger losing the keys to her rental car, but after much time searching, Uncle Jerry somehow spotted them in the grass. By the end of the event, Raymond was conked out on his shoulder. It was a good day. :)
