Raymond had his first Thanksgiving Day of 2008 at Winchester Academy, where he and the other dozen girls in his class dressed up in semi-formal attire to dine on Winchester's finest - Chick-fil-a nuggets, chocolate pudding snacks and juice boxes.
Mindy and I went thinking they'd sing a song, act out some part of Thanksgiving they learned about, etc., but all they did is say a prayer and dig in. Still, Raymond was so excited that we both showed-up and he kept telling his friends and teachers that we were coming. I know he appreciated it, even though it was anti-climactic.
Needless to say, pokie was the last to leave the "dinner party."
